The pulp is tender and very juicy, rich in vitamins and mineral salts, prevents obesity and helps to reduce excess weight, generally heals the entire body.
In cooking, kohlrabi is used both fresh and processed - boiled or stewed.

Light loamy and sandy soils are best suited for kohlrabi. For seedlings, seeds are sown at the end of March.
Seedlings are planted in open ground in late April - early May at the age of 35-40 days, with a distance between plants of 25-30 cm.
In open ground, seeds are sown in early May to a depth of 2 cm. After the appearance of the first true leaf, the plants are thinned out at a distance of 10-15 cm.
To harvest two crops from one root, the stem is cut off, leaving the root with the lower part of the stem.
Care consists of loosening, watering and fertilizing. Kohlrabi is harvested when the stem crop reaches a diameter of 7-10 cm.
